Their work has been presented in local and international contexts, notably at Bushwick Gallery in Melbourne (AUS), Le Livart (CAN), and the Maison du Conseil des arts de Montréal. In 2025, they completed their first international residency at the Dikan Photography Archive Center in Accra (GHN), in partnership with Nigra Iuventa (CAN). In 2026, following this first phase, they continue a collaborative research-creation project with the J.H. Nketia Archives in Accra (GHN), culminating in an exhibition planned for late summer 2027 in Accra and in Montreal in 2028.
In March 2026, as part of an ongoing project centered on blue denim and a research methodology of unweaving, the artist participated in a research-creation residency at the Falé Center in the Sine Saloum region of Senegal, focusing on rain-fed cotton, architecture, and weaving practices.

Artist statement
My artistic practice takes shape through research-creation at the intersection of visual arts, storytelling, and archival work. It is grounded in a multidisciplinary and reflective approach to the political dimensions of history and culture. I explore the tensions between memory, identity, and narrative, notably through mediums such as painting, photography, and weaving. I conceive research-creation as a speculative method for the emergence of knowledge, particularly in response to systemic and colonial erasures.
My experience as a bookseller and librarian informs this approach, and at the core of my process lies the notion of biomythography, as developed by Audre Lorde: a hybrid form of storytelling that intertwines autobiography, myth, and history. In my work, by interweaving tools such as archival materials, speculative fiction, and collective memory, I propose navigational narratives within the transatlantic space.
